Solution for phocomelic drivers:

foot-steering In this case, the driver has no use of his or her arms.

The steering is done with the left foot, the accelerator and the brake are activated with the right foot.

foot-steering turn All the electric functions such as turn signals, wiper, horn, lights,... are voice-controlled.

driving-school car In January 1984 the first driver's license requiring the use of a speech recognition control system was issued to a disabled person whose automobile was equipped with the Katalavox.
